Appropriate Technology

Have you ever heard about Appropriate technology?
It is a technology which is considering about community's political, environmental condition. so it is sustainable tech in region where people use that technology.
The ultimate goal of appropriate technology is to improve quality of human life.
It is also called 'human faced' technology'. (인간의 얼굴을 한 기술)
until now, many appropriate technology-product is developed.
For example, Q-drum, pot-in-pot cooler and life-straw.
Q-drum is kind of water tank which is very easy to carry.
pot-in-pot cooler is mini refrigerator without electricity.
life-straws purify dirty water through the straw.
Actually, appropriate technology can be simple technology and also simple design.
It is not highly advanced and difficult!!
One part of my major is membrane which can be used in filtration.
So i have lots of interesting about filtration product like life-straw.

I'm 22 year-old guy and Hanyang university student.

Now, I live in Seoul in Korea but my hometown is Gongju ,Chungnam, Korea.

Seoul, the capital of Korea, is worldwide big city. why don't you visit to Seoul?

My university, Hanyang, is in Seoul. It is one of the best univ in Korea. I have great proud of my school. 

My major is energy engineering. I'm a junior so i must study hard now.

My goal is to entrance graduate school then get doctor's degree.

My hobby is listening music.

These days, i really like Maroon 5.
